So wish I had listened to you guys...got to Manchester yesterday had a fab night (although I don't recommend getting stuck in a lift at 3 in the morning!!!) and then went to come home and what happens I get stuck in Leeds 15 mins from my house and traffic is at a stand still and radio is saying it's taking 2-3 hours do a 15 minute journey. So I'm writing to you from a friends in wetherby and I've now taken over the sofa. It warm it's clean and I have somewhere to sleep but how I wish I had stayed at home or stayed in Manchester not a journey I will forget!! Now got to sleep then go to work tomorrow with no uniform :s just hope I can make it home tomorrow!! ...x V

Trying to change things up a bit really isn't being helped by all the snow I woke up to this morning. Here's my first dilemma of many that are sure to come. I'm meant to be driving to Manchester tonight to see my BFF who's at Uni there but do I go and risk driving there in this weather or stay at home?? I miss her loads but I hate driving in the dark as it is let alone with ice and snow on the roads!! Is going to be a great night with the girls new people new scene but it's not like it's the last chance I have to go I'll be there loads over the 3 or 4 years she will be there. So what do you think?? Risk it for a night out and seeing the BFF or stay at home and rearrange??

Have you ever considered just getting away from everything....starting afresh?? A new city, new friends, new job?? I always wonder if it's a good idea. You can get stuck in a rut and when you're in familiar surroundings it can be hard to make changes. I recently read a book called I Heart New York which follows a lady who's had her heart broken and ran away to New York. She meets amazing new people, hot guys and gets a great career opportunity. But is that possible in reality or only in fiction and it really got me thinking that my life needs a change, maybe not as drastic as moving half way round the world but defiantly something, having a blog i think is a step in the right direction, but what to do next....? I'll keep you updated......x V
